Because doctors spend so many years mastering the technical minutiae of their speciality, they sometimes forget how to communicate with their patients.
Rather than think of themselves as being endocrinologists or diabetologists or radiologists or cardiologists, I wish all doctors would think of themselves as being patientologists first !
