For most people, organic farming brings to mind foods which are healthier and more nutritious - but also more expensive !
Why should this be so ? If organic farming is done properly, it should allow the farmer to grow better crops, at a lesser cost ( since he is not using pesticides and chemical fertilisers !)
Most farmers are worried that using organic farming will reduce their yields. This is a myth - and if done properly, the yields can actually be better. This is what Natueco farming is all about !
I just spent a weekend with Mr Deepak Suchde at the Malpani Trust Natueco farm in Bajwada, MP. A photo is worth a thousand words - and I was very impressed with the work he is doing !
