Octo Telematics Enters U.S. Insurance Telematics Marketplace in joint venture with Directed Electronics

With the launch of its U.S. operations, Octo Telematics North America is poised to offer its comprehensive range of vehicle telematics solutions to the considerable North American automotive insurance market: from usage-based insurance, driving behavior and mileage reporting, to safety and security services, crash kinematics and dynamics reconstruction.
Octo Telematics will provide auto insurance-telematics services to Seattle-based Safeco Insurance, a member of Liberty Mutual Group, and Octo Telematics' first U.S. insurance customer.
Mr. Tarantino, who had previously served as Octo Telematics' Head of Business Development in the U.S., brings 25 years of experience to the role stemming from a range of general management, operations and business development positions in the U.S. and around the world.
